TOBY DYE

Toby Dye is a filmmaker with important international awards in his curriculum. With “Bodysnatchers of New York” he won a Grierson Prize, the most prestigious documentary award in the United Kingdom. His non-fiction films are characterized by mischievous ingenuity and an exciting narrative, along with his ability to capture intimately revealing portraits, always shaped with a careful and very cinematic style. Constantly innovative, it combines techniques with advanced results. His music video, ‘Paradise Circus’ for Massive Attack, was awarded the ‘Best in Book’ award at the Creative Review Annual. Since then, he has directed commercial campaigns for large multinational brands such as American Express, Lurpak, McDonalds and Sky. With ‘Free the Kids’ for Persil / Omo he won a Bronze Lion in Cannes.

Indeed, Dye created ‘The Corridor’, the centerpiece of the famous art exhibition ‘Daydreaming with Stanley Kubrick’ at the Somerset House in London. An immersive film installation that the Daily Telegraph describes as “mind-blowing, while fun and slightly disturbing.”
